Holiday Recipes: Monica’s Oyster Stew

‘Oy!! Monica’s Oyster Stew in the Crock Pot

In your crock pot:
8 cups milk
1 minced onion
2-3 cloves of minced garlic
1 chopped red pepper
1-2 cups hash browns

Mix and cook on high for two hours.

On the stove:
1/2 cup butter
2 pints fresh oysters
1 Tsp. salt
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Saute only for about five minutes until the oysters start to curl. Then, add this to the crock pot and cook on low for two to three hours.

Serve it with some chives on top with your favorite bread and crackers! ‘Oy! And Wah la!
