Sportsmanship is displayed on a daily basis by athletes the world over, but this story is tough to top.
Mitchell Marcus, a special needs basketball manager in El Paso, Texas, was finally given the chance to play in the last game of the season. He was given the ball several times, but missed the hoop. That’s when a player, Jonathon Montanez, from the opposing team stepped in.
With just seconds left and the ball in his team’s possession, Montanez passed the ball instead to Marcus, letting him finally score his basket.
