Katy Perry tweets emotional message to fallen fan

Olivia Wise became an internet star when her beautiful cover of Katy Perry’s “Roar” hit the web in October.
At the time, 16-year-old Olivia was diagnosed with brain cancer. Sadly, the cancer was inoperable and took her life on Monday.
Perry sent a heartfelt tweet to her fallen fan after she heard the tragic news of Olivia’s passing.
Olivia Wise, I can hear you singing with the angels now. Your spirit & strength has inspired me & so many others… May you rest in peace.

Perry got wind the youngster’s recording after it went viral on YouTube. The pop star later reached out to her in a video message, saying she was incredibly moved by the video.
Olivia’s cover of “Roar” is available on The Liv Wise Fund website. The proceeds benefit brain cancer research. So far, the fund has raised over $110,000. You can help them reach the goal of $150,000 by purchasing a copy for yourself.
