Are you ready for cappuccino-flavored chips?

Lay’s is calling on all Americans to help create its next chip flavor in celebration of its 75th anniversary next year.

Cappuccino-flavored chips will be on store shelves soon, and you’ll be able to vote on whether they, and three other unique flavors, stick around.

I love cappuccino and I love potato chips, but no need to mix those flavors. Yuck!

For a moment I thought the cappuccino-flavored chips might be great news for coffee lovers, until I learned that the chips don’t actually contain any coffee or caffeine. So, what’s the point?

The coffee-flavored chips are one of four finalists in Frito-Lay’s second annual “Do Us a Flavor” contest, which gives people a chance to create a new potato chip that is sold nationally and win $1 million.

The other three finalists are Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese, Mango Salsa and Wasabi Ginger.

Sorry, those flavors don’t sound appetizing to me, either.
The four new flavors will be hitting store shelves later this month. Then you’ll be able to vote online for your favorite flavor through Oct. 18.

When it comes to all four of these flavors I bet I CAN eat just ONE!
