I feel so much for everyone going without a paycheck because of the shutdown.

Boston Market will give military or federal employees with ID a free chicken with purchase of a family meal this week. Click here for more information.

AMC is offering a federal employee and military a free popcorn when they show ID until Oct. 10. Click here for more information. Thanks, Perry!

Mountainside Fitness tweeted that “Any govt employee, laid off or furloughed as a result of the govt shutdown, may workout at Mountainside free until 2014.” CEO Billy Malkovich’s comment is worth mentioning: “Elected officials are excluded from this offer. Because you know why.”

Just for military families, Sam’s Club is waiving membership requirements through the end of the shutdown. Click here for more information.
