At Toys “R” Us, you can pick up a FREE lunch kit when you buy any backpack priced $12.99 or more. You can also get four 24-packs of Crayola Crayons for just a buck, by far the cheapest price I’ve found.
I have lists of what’s on sale at Staples here and Office Max here (along with a $10 off coupon), and if you’re really organized, you can bring the ads into Walmart or Target and get them to ad match. I was in Office Max the other day and they said they’d ad match too. Back-to-school shopping can be incredibly reasonable if you put a little bit of time into it. A great spot to check out for back to school items you can’t find great deals on is the dollar store.
