What’s it like to be addicted to meth?

We all are regularly exposed to news stories about the powerful, addictive drug, methamphetamine, but what’s it like to use it? What’s it like to find yourself powerless to stop using it? Why does anyone start?

This is a compound of industrial chemicals so toxic, that when law enforcement busts a meth “kitchen,” haz mat suits are often worn to avoid exposure. Yet, thousands put it in their bodies every day.

We’ve all been exposed to the pictures of users whose appearance has dramatically changed and disintegrated. But there are others…attractive, charming, productive citizens of this community who are like Sara…people who can answer the question, “What’s it like to be a meth addict?”
