Using NCAA logic to predict Carson Palmer

So, as of Tuesday, all Arizona Cardinals fans have a new name to add to their bedtime prayer requests: Carson Palmer.
On the plus side, he’s got NFL experience. This will be his 10th season. He’s been a Pro-Bowler twice and Conference Player of the Year once.
He’s thrown a lot more touchdowns than interceptions, double the number of touchdowns all four Cardinals QBs threw last season.
The biggest negative about the Cardinals signing Carson Palmer is that it’s the Cardinals who signed him. Everyone wants to forget the musical chair round robin that took place behind center last year, so I’m going to take the example of the current leaders in our office March Madness bracket competition.
So far the people who seem to be on track to win all the money have done so by making their choices by the color of the team’s uniforms or the attractiveness of the town the colleges are in. So, let’s see, with that formula…in the Army I was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colo. and my first television job was at a station in Davenport, Iowa across from the Palmer School of Chiropractic. That’s good enough for me.
Carson Palmer, take us to the Superbowl.
I’m Pat McMahon.
