Time saving PC tips

It’s time for another Data Doctors Tech Tip. And speaking of “time,” time is like money, and just like money, you probably need more of it. Here’s two easy ways to save time with you PC:

Number 1. Take it easy on the Internet Tabs!

We know, we know, it’s nice having everything you want in tabs on one screen, but too many tabs can be difficult to browse through.

Plus, it’s eating up RAM and slowing your computer down, when you’re computer is slow, YOU are slow!

If you’re a Google Chrome user there’s a great add on to keep your tabs AND your speed at the same time. It’s called OneTab.

Once you notice your tabs adding up just click on OneTab and boom, all of your tabs are listed for you, and won’t slow you down. Plus, they’ll be easier to navigate!

Number 2. Take advantage of your Windows task bar

Opening a program you have pinned on your task bar is much faster than searching through your desktop or Windows Start Menu and you can pin whatever you want to your task bar!

Now the things you use the most, like an Internet Browser, Email, Microsoft Word, whatever it might be, you can pin to your taskbar to save yourself some time.

The other thing you might want to do? Get rid of the stuff on your taskbar you DON’T use as often.

We’ve got the answers to your technology questions.

All you have to do is ask us at facebook.com/datadoctors.
