The Weekly DownLloyd: Episode 4: Earth or a prison planet?

As the producer of Mac & Gaydos this is my own unique, weird, wacky and, at times, warped look at the week’s seven biggest stories.

The Richie Incognito vs. Jonathan Martin bullying/hazing saga continues. Now Incognito’s filed a grievance against the Miami Dolphins to try and end his suspension.

What’s even more puzzling to me is that the Dolphins owner still hasn’t spoken with Jonathan Martin. More than that, Martin’s made no public comment. At some point he’s going to have to speak out and explain what led to him walking away from the team.

My favorite story on the DownLloyd to date…an ecologist is arguing humans don’t come from earth. Instead we were dropped here by aliens and Earth just might be a prison planet of sorts. It only gets better from there.

I know a lot about apps but admittedly I’d never heard of Snapchat until the last year or so. Well, it’s exploded in popularity with youngsters. The guys who came up with the idea just turned down $3 billion from Facebook to hand over their app to the social media top dog.

Personally, I think turning down that much money is a bit crazy, but if these two really do have other investors interested in the company maybe they can get a bidding war going and make even bigger bucks.
