Movies in a Minute: ‘Boyhood’

The movie follows a young boy named Mason, and tells the story through his eyes of what it’s like to grow up. Over a 12-year period, Mason goes from a young boy to a teenager and experiences the rocky moments of adolescence to the challenges of becoming an adult.

As far as movies go, I have never seen anything like this. This movie was filmed with the same cast for the whole 12 years. It is by far the greatest movie of this year and, dare I say, will get a best picture nomination. The rest of the movies for 2014 have a very high bar to jump over if they want to beat this movie.
