Faith in Humanity: Janitor cleans up after finding money

Sometimes it pays to do the right thing.
According to the Huffington Post, Chamindu Amarsinghe, found nearly $100,000 in a sanitary bin in a bathroom of a Sydney, Australia television station in 2011.
“There was too much to count. I thought someone was playing a prank on me. But when I touched the notes … I realized it was real money,” he recalled to the [Herald Sun].
Police investigated the money for years but never tracked down whose money it was.
Last week, Amarsinghe was given more than $80,000 of the money as a reward. He plans to donate some of it.
