Thank you!

When you do what I do for as long as I’ve done it, you can get pretty cynical.
Every day, week after week, month after month, year after year, decade after decade, the news is mostly about liars and cheats, criminals and con men, death and war.
And then you let me know that the world is also full of kindness, generosity and community. You opened your heart and your wallet and you helped because someone on the radio asked you to. I feel uplifted and humbled.
Thank you.
Our sixth Annual “Action for Autism” broadcast on Wednesday was a big success because of you.
You have helped people you don’t know confront a problem they can’t deal with alone. You have let them know they are not alone.
You have told the staff at the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center you know how important their work is, and have given them the opportunity to do more for more.
Amidst all the craziness and dysfunction in the world, you stepped forward and extended your hand and acted with compassion.
Thank you. I wish everyone was like you.
