The Yarnell Hill wildfire, which took the lives of 19 firefighters and destroyed hundreds of structures, sent flames and thick plumes of smoke into the air on Sunday.
Photographer Matt Oss set up his camera equipment and captured an eerie scene as the deadly fire rolled across the desert landscape.
According to ABC15, the time-lapse footage was taken just outside the town of Yarnell and over a 20-minute period beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
As of Tuesday, the wildfire remained zero percent contained. Shifting winds and continued excessive heat are posing problems for the more than 400 personnel fighting the blaze.
