Fans attending an advanced screening of Furious 7 in Los Angeles were treated to a special moment from Vin Diesel, perhaps the most recognizable face of The Fast and the Furious movie franchise.
Seen in the video above, Diesel pays tribute to fellow cast mate and friend Paul Walker, who was killed in an automobile accident November 30, 2013 in Southern California.
“Please, from my heart know that we made this movie from our hearts and know that this our gift to you. And more importantly, it’s for my brother there,” said Diesel to an applauding audience, as he motioned to a picture of Walker and the cast on a screen above.
Playing the role of professional street racer Dominic Toretto, Diesel appeared alongside Walker in five of the franchise’s seven installments.
Furious 7 is set for release April 3.
