Though we’re not sure he ever left, Mr. T is back to entertain America in a DIY Network home renovation show aptly named, “I Pity the Tool”.
While it’s unclear how credentialed Mr. T is in renovating homes, there is no doubt as to the quick work the actor could make of walls, cabinets and countertops with with a sledgehammer and surly attitude.
Best known for his roles as B.A. Baracus on the 1980s television series The A-team and as boxer Clubber Lang in Rocky III, Mr. T’s show will have a sentimental feel according to Variety, as renovations will predominantly focus on military families and folks who have fallen on hard times.
“I am tough, but deep inside my toughness, I like to let people know I’m an old-fashioned mama’s boy,” Mr. T told Variety. “I have a heart of gold, but I’m really a marshmallow in my heart.”
“I Pity the Tool” is set to debut later this year.
