The show must go on: Madonna falls onstage, keeps singing

All the world’s a stage, Shakespeare wrote. He completely left out the part where famous people fall off the stage in front of a television audience and then the video goes viral.

Madonna fell backward down a short flight of stairs during a performance Wednesday night at the Brit Awards and the Internet went crazy.

The 56-year-old singer was pulled down when the long cape she was wearing got caught on something.

But like a champ, Madonna got back to her feet, singing, while a stunned audience and dancing minotaurs watched.

Madonna later tweeted:

Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up!… https://t.co/zrCAqweiLo
