If you want to find out the most-searched items of 2014, seeing them listed out probably isn’t the most interesting way to take in the information.
So what does Google do?
The search engine visualizes the data by releasing a minute and a half video that gives you a good idea of what people were looking to find out more about in 2014.
In the video, you’ll see everything from entertainment clips to missing plane aftermath to Ebola scares to ice bucket challenges to fallen celebrities.
If that doesn’t give you a detailed enough look at the top searches, Google has launched a page where you can find out more about the biggest stories of the year.
There, now you can’t claim you didn’t know what was going on in 2014.
