Let’s watch an adorable baby seal try to surf

A couple of surfers had an unpredictable companion to join them on the fun.

Surfer Matthew Stanley was out surfing with his GoPro camera, when a baby seal decided to join the party.

In the video, the seal can be seen climbing on the board. Stanley and his friend, Andrew Flounders, do their best to teach the little guy how to surf — but seems like he might need a little extra lessons.

“Me and my friend Andrew Flounders were out enjoying some summer waves when this little guy came along and scared the hell out of Andy because we didn’t know what it was! It nudged his foot from underneath,” Stanley said in the video’s description.

After an hour of playing around, the surfers headed back to shore, but their new buddy tried to follow them up to the beach.
