Whether you’re a Geography Bee champ or a Social Studies chump, Google has a map for that.
Utilizing its Maps feature, Google has created a game called “Smarty Pins,” The Verge reported.
Google asks you a random trivia question about a specific city or country, and you’re tasked with dropping a pin on the right spot. Players can pick between six categories that influence the line of questions they’re given. These range from arts and culture to entertainment fodder.
Every player starts with 1,000 “miles,” or points. Answer correctly and quickly, and you’ll get added miles. Answer incorrectly, and Google will deduct the number of miles based on how far off you were.
Here’s my personal concern: Let’s say I’m tasked with locating the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I know it’s in Cleveland, Ohio.
But I have no idea where in Ohio Cleveland actually is!
…I guess that’s why I should play this game?
