This adorable, talented duo reminded me of a young Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
These two young chaps — Charlie and Leondre — call themselves Bars and Melody. They appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent” recently and their cover of a Twista featuring Faith Evans song had an inspirational “twist” of its own: Anti-bullying rap lyrics written by one of the boys.
Little Leondre has first-hand experience with bullying, but he refused to let it get him down. He wrote his rap lyrics down in a journal to help him cope and even ended up confronting his bully — without resorting to violence.
Their act was enough to warm even Simon Cowell’s heart.
