It seems like I can’t go one week without shedding tears at work.
Megan Sugg, a senior at a Maryland high school, wanted her dying mother to see her graduate, but she knew she wouldn’t live to see the actual ceremony.
The school didn’t hesitate to grant Megan’s wish.
Last Thursday, the high school held a bedside graduation for Megan and her mother, the Capital Gazette reported. In just one day, administrators collected the graduation gowns from the year and before and brought flowers to the hospital.
Megan’s mom, Darlene, was exhausted, but she was aware of the whole event and even opened her eyes.
Darlene passed away peacefully two days later.
