California cops pull people over for ice cream, not tickets

Nobody likes being pulled over by the police.

Even if we think we’re innocent (and of course, we all are every time), it’s nerve-wracking. Generally we’ve been caught doing something wrong, don’t want to admit it and we drive off with a fine after.

It’s not fun for anyone, including officers.

The folks over at Wall’s Ice Cream decided to give both the officers and the public a break in Quincy, Calif. Rather than pulling people over to give them a citation, they give them a sweet treat instead.

Of course, the officers have fun giving people a bit of a scare, but all’s well that ends well in this one.
