Did a skydiver capture a meteor in flight on film?

With the prevalence of video cameras nowadays, people are catching more and more odd occurrences.

But a Norwegian skydiver may have captured one of the rarest of all — a meteor falling from the sky in it’s so-called “dark period,” after it has slowed so much it no longer gives off light because of air friction.

Admittedly, I’m still skeptical this is all true (thanks, Jimmy Kimmel) but it would be cool if it turned out to be true. The skydiver took his footage to a geologist, who seemed to believe without hesitation that the video is not a hoax. That interview is below the original.

Search teams are looking for the rock in the woods. Because, you know, finding a rock in the forest is easy to do.
