Woman finds python in home loudspeaker, dead mouse used to get it out

Mar 4, 2014, 12:00 PM | Updated: 12:00 pm

Picture this: You come home after a long day — or maybe you were simply enjoying a day off at home — and then you suddenly see a giant python slithering across the floor.

That actually happened to a woman in Sweden.

She called the cops immediately, but by the time they got to her apartment, the reptile had stowed itself away in one of her loudspeakers, reported the NY Daily News.

It refused to budge from its “new home,” but apparently, it Will Slither For Food.

The speaker-snake was taken to the local Skansen aquarium, “where staff coaxed the trespasser out with a dead mouse.”

The python was determined to be a non-deadly Australian carpet python, or diamond python, and it may have been a neighbor’s pet.
