Thanks to this Portland, Ore., jogger, I get to use one of my favorite words: Schadenfreude.
Winter weather has impacted much of the country lately, and Oregon is no exception.
According to The Huffington Post, one local news reporter who clearly drew the short straw braved the conditions for her news report, trying to get interviews from people who were still out and about.
Cue the very, very earnest jogging couple who were happy to oblige.
“It’s the perfect texture for running,” the woman said of the snow. “Very low impact, and it’s dry snow, so your feet don’t get wet.”
Well, that’s true. It’s hard for your feet to get wet if you’re slipping and falling on your back.
