Another emotive Budweiser ad makes preemptive strike in commercials contest

Feb 1, 2014, 11:19 PM | Updated: Feb 2, 2014, 5:33 am

Budweiser has outdone itself again.

Of course, there was last Super Bowl’s ad of a parade horse who dismissed himself to seek his doting former owner.

Then, there was this year’s pre-released commercial featuring an adorable farm puppy and his Clydesdale friends, who seek him after his adoption.

Now, the impromptu parade for a returning soldier joins the emotive series. The ad begins with the soldier being welcomed home by his significant other at the airport and gradually develops the scene into one of a tribute to “The Pride of Winter Park,” as the Floridian military man is called on an overhead banner.

The parade — which actually took place, thanks to the American brewery — shows tears throughout the crowd. Be prepared to shed some of your own.
