Nov 18, 2013, 8:37 PM | Updated: 8:37 pm

The Military Assistance Mission provides aid to Arizona enlisted service members with a rank of E6 or below who are active duty or part of the National Guard.

They will provide financial aid to those active duty members, as well as their families and wounded soldiers, regardless of deployment status.

If a loved one leaves for service, the Military Assistance Mission also offers rent, mortgage, vehicle payment and insurance, food, utilities on a one time basis to those who have emergency needs.

MAM was founded to offer support not only those who fight to support our country but also their families, who may be struggling at home.

CEO Margy Bons began MAM after her son, Marine Sgt. Michael Marzano, was killed in Iraq on May 7, 2005.
