Comedian Chris Rock has a special message for independent white voters: “In times like these you need a white president you can trust. And that white president’s name is Barack Obama.” Rock breaks down, in his signature style, how “Barry Obama” is “whiter” than Mitt Romney.

Area 51 Exposed, Finally: The genius behind the Internet, cellphones and social networking will be revealed when Dreamworks blows open the doors of Area 51 in “Escape from Planet Earth” (Hint: aliens claim to be behind those pesky inventions). Featuring the voice talents of Brendan Fraser and Jessica Alba, this sci-fi animated comedy lands on the blue planet in February:

Oscar Changes: They’re enacting some rules changes for the Oscars. For the first time Academy members can vote electronically. According to Deadline that means “a tightened schedule for determining nominations and an earlier nominee announcement.” That means Oscar nominations will be announced two weeks earlier.

What Will George Lucas Do?: George Lucas has said he’s wanted to retire for a while. But after selling Lucasfilm to Disney for some $4 billion and change, he’s not retiring from the movies completely. Lucas tells Ebony that while he’ll still remain a creative consultant on Star Wars projects, he said much of the money from the sale will be spent on philanthropic efforts and his own little personal films.

Video Pulled: The band No Doubt has pulled its “Looking Hot” video. It sparked controversy because “the video is cowboys-and-Indians themed and the stereotypical images including headdresses, tepees, and smoke signals” the HuffPo reports. The group says as a multiracial band built on diversity it was never the intention to “hurt or trivialize native American people, their culture or their history.”
