UPDATE: Silent Witness is now offering a $10,000 reward for information in this case.
Five suspects. Phoenix Police Sgt. Darren Burch said that means five people who may have talked about their crime.
“This is referred to as a ‘take-down robbery,'” he said. “This is very violent blitz attack where you have more than one person come into the store and you order everyone down on the ground. This is the kind of thing you see on T.V. and we don’t have very many of these, thank God.”
But we had one on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at the Cash America Super Pawn at 59th Avenue and Camelback. It was 6:45 p.m.
“One suspect has a gun and he immediately controls the employees and customers while the other four are smashing the glass to the jewelry cases and quickly putting everything into one container. They’re out of there in less than a minute,” said Burch.
They were all dressed in dark hoodies and gloves.

Our next case is also a robbery, but an entirely different style. They’re called the Ninja Bandits.
“Two suspects have committed 14 robberies since Nov. 6, 2012,” said Burch. “They only hit Circle K’s and Walgreens.”
They go after cigarettes both behind the counter and even the displays. Only recently have they started taking cash as well. They don’t show weapons but they do physically force the clerk to comply.
