3rd annual Mac and Cheese Fest returning to Scottsdale this fall

PHOENIX — Gooey goodness is returning to Scottsdale for two days this fall.
The third annual Mac and Cheese Fest will happen Nov. 16-17 at Salt River Fields.
More than 30 local restaurants will be on hand showcasing their best cheesy eats from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Tickets for the event are $10 for general admission and $5 for children ages 4-12.
VIP tickets are available for $75 and include four drink tickets, five mac and cheese tasting tokens, a free water or soda and access to a shaded tent with private restrooms.
Mac and cheese samples will be sold for $2 a pop.
Home chefs who believe they have a delectable mac and cheese recipe can also get in on the action.
Those who want to enter the Mac and Cheese S’Mac Down can upload a video of them making their recipe to YouTube by Oct. 15. The 10 videos that have the most likes by Oct. 30 will advance to the live cook-off Nov. 16.
The festival also will feature mac and cheese cooking demonstrations, games and live music.
