PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify any possible child victims of a man arrested earlier this year for sexual abuse.
David Legg, 41, of Queen Creek was arrested on Feb. 13 on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor that occurred in Maricopa County.
He also had two outstanding felony warrants out of South Dakota for two counts of sexual contact with a child under age 16.
According to court documents, Legg had more than 50 images of child pornography on his computer, phone and tablet.
He was also accused of inappropriately touching a 4-year-old female and taking exploitative photos of that child and his own 3-year-old in a bath together.
According to the documents, the Arizona Department of Child Services took Legg’s child, now 5, into custody due to several factors, including unlivable conditions in a bus where the family was staying.
Legg has been identified as a potential suspect in other similar offenses that occurred in Maricopa and Pinal counties, and there may be more victims outstanding.
Anyone with information was asked to call MCSO Cyber Crime Detectives at 602-876-1011 or 602-876-TIPS (8477).
