Watch out for Interstate 10 restrictions in the Valley this weekend

PHOENIX — Drivers should watch out for restrictions on Interstate 10 this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane between Verrado Way and Loop 303 from 10 p.m. Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday for pavement work.
Westbound lanes will be narrowed to one lane in the same area from 10 p.m. Saturday to 12 p.m. Sunday.
I-10 ramps to northbound I-17 will be closed in both directions at the “stack” interchange from 9:30 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday for the installation of a Cox Communications overhead line.

I-17 will also be closed intermittently during that period for up to 20 minutes each time between Indian School and Thomas roads.
Northbound I-17 on-ramps at McDowell and Thomas roads, the southbound on-ramp at Indian School Road and the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Seventh Avenue will also be closed.
The southbound I-17 off-ramp at 16th Street will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Sunday for bridge maintenance.
Northbound 16th Street’s two left lanes will be closed near I-17 during that time with no access to the northbound I-17 on-ramp.
Southbound Seventh Street’s two left lanes will also be closed near I-17 with no access to the southbound I-17 on-ramp.
The eastbound U.S. 60 off-ramp at Val Vista Drive will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a city project.

Update: ADOT on Friday canceled the closure of eastbound I-10 between 83rd and 51st avenues that was scheduled from 9 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.
