PHOENIX — An employee at a behavioral health group home in Phoenix was arrested this month for allegedly sexually abusing three girls who were patients at the facility.

Rodrigo Omar Flores is accused of molesting, groping, kissing and threatening the girls, ages 13 to 15, at the Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health group home.

Flores, 23, was arrested at his Glendale home on May 7. He is facing charges of child molestation, sexual abuse, assault and aggravated assault on a minor.

The exact location of the group home was not disclosed; the company has multiple facilities across Arizona.

It was not immediately clear what Flores’ role at the home was.

KTAR News 92.3 FM reached out to Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health for comment.

Court documents showed the first victim, a 14-year-old, came forward with the allegations against Flores in March.

She said Flores had kissed her, groped her and pressed against her on at least four separate occasions in the girl’s room and in the laundry room.

The incidents stopped after the girl told her teacher assistant. After that, Flores was placed on leave and was eventually fired. The timing of the termination was not immediately clear.

The other two victims came forward during a subsequent investigation. The 13- and 15-year-old girls detailed similar incidents that also occurred at the facility.

Flores admitted to kissing the 13- and 14-year-olds. He said he used poor judgement at the time.

Flores is being held on a $200,000 cash bond. He will appear in court next on Wednesday.

We want to hear from you.
