PHOENIX — A 20-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed when a woman driving a car allegedly turned left into his path Saturday evening.
Korbin Massey was driving northbound when a 30-year-old female driver in a Honda Civic pulled out of a private drive near Cave Creek and Beardsley roads, according to Phoenix police.
Police said the Honda failed to yield as it turned left to go southbound, causing the collision.
The Honda driver and her 3-month-old passenger were not injured.
Massey was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. He was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the Honda told police she did not see Massey before turning. Impairment was not suspected.
