A witness said that he saw the car drive into the pond at Trailside Point Park. Tire tracks on the grass near the pond and a video of the car underwater with its lights on confirmed the location of the car.
Later in the day, the car was pulled from the pond, although no body was found, according to police.
Officials have not yet searched the trunk of the car and are still searching the pond for a body.
No further information is available at this time.
