PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Wednesday afternoon after an 80-year-old Phoenix-area man was found safe two days after he was reported missing.
John Pfeiffer was last seen leaving his Litchfield Park home around 3 p.m. Sunday in his red 2010 Chevrolet Aveo with an Arizona license plate, BDM9521.
He was eventually found safe Wednesday, officials said.
Pfeiffer was heading to a Circle K gas station at Dysart and Glendale avenues when he left the house and did not return.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that Pfeiffer used his credit card in Payson, about 100 miles north of Litchfield Park.
Pfeiffer is described as a 5’5″ man with brown eyes. He is balding with white hair.
