PHOENIX — The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office arrested nine males suspected of luring minors for sexual exploitation.
According to a post by the Sheriff’s office’s Facebook page, the nine males range in age from 33-years-old to 79-years-old.
Mohave County Sheriff Dough Schuster was satisfied the sting operation was successful.
“These appalling individuals are predators who sexually prey on our youth,” Schuster said. “They are the filth of our society and every effort will be made to ensure these monsters are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) provided training to the Sheriff’s office to help track the suspected criminals.
Mohave County also worked in cooperation with the Lake Havasu Police Department, Kingman Police Department, Bullhead City Police Department and the United States Department of Homeland Security.
