MCSO deputies find 2 potentially explosive devices near Buckeye

PHOENIX — Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies found two potentially explosive devices in a desert area near Buckeye on Sunday afternoon.
Sgt. Bryant Vanegas said deputies responded to call around 3:45 p.m. near Tuthill and Ray roads regarding a possible explosive.
When deputies arrived, they identified an additional item as a possible explosive device, Vanegas said.
He said deputies secured the area and called a bomb squad to investigate.
The investigation is ongoing.
