Queen-inspired musical tour ‘We Will Rock You’ to stop in Prescott this fall

PHOENIX — “We Will Rock You,” a musical inspired by the legendary band Queen, will be making a stop in Prescott this fall.

The show, which features 24 songs by Queen, including hits “We are the Champions,” “Somebody to Love” and “Bohemian Rhapsody,” will come to the Findlay Toyota Center on Oct. 14.

Tickets will be available online from $50 to $80 starting Friday at 10 a.m.

The tour begins Sept. 3 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and ends in Feburary 2020 in Toronto.

“‘We Will Rock You’ follows two revolutionaries, Galileo and Scaramouche, on a quest to save rock ‘n’ roll in a post-apocalyptic world where there are no musical instruments and rock ‘n’ roll has died,” organizers said in a press release.

“They fight for freedom, individuality and the rebirth of rock ‘n’ roll.”

Since 2002, more than 16 million people in 19 countries have seen the musical.
