PHOENIX — A 55-year-old woman in southern Arizona was arrested on Friday for allegedly shooting and killing her two 8-year-old grandchildren.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Dorothy Flood is facing two counts of first-degree murder after twin boys Jaden and Jordan Webb were found shot dead in a Tucson home.
She is being held in the Pima County Adult Detention Complex.
Fire officials responded to a medical call in the area of Kain Avenue and Ruthrauff Road around 2 p.m. Thursday.
They found a woman who had symptoms of an apparent overdose and the boys, who were pronounced dead on the scene.
The woman was taken to a local hospital. Her relation to the boys or Flood was not immediately known.
The investigation is ongoing.
