PHOENIX — Two Arizonans were among four people who were killed after a tractor trailer hit two other vehicles in southwestern New Mexico on Sunday.

Susan Rojo, a 47-year-old Sierra Vista woman, was killed in the collision that happened on Interstate 10 near Lordsburg around 3:30 p.m.

Arnold Rojo, 51 and also from Sierra Vista, died from his injuries at a hospital Tuesday.

Rojo was a passenger in a Dodge pickup that was struck by a Freightliner tractor trailer that crossed the center median.

The driver of the Freightliner, 50-year-old Sean White of West Covina, California, was also killed in the crash.

White hit a second tractor trailer head-on, killing the driver, 47-year-old Jose Apodaca of El Paso.

Rojo, White and Apodaca were all pronounced dead at the scene.

The 51-year-old male driver of the pickup and a 13-year-old female passenger suffered critical injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
