PHOENIX — Looking for a place where every dog can truly have its day?
Look no further as the Dog Days of Glendale is back April 6.
From 8 a.m. to noon, dogs and their owners can take in a number of activities, including free doga (dog yoga) classes, pet blessings and Glendale Police Department K-9 training demonstrations.
There’s even pet food sampling and frozen dog treats.
Attendees and their humans are encouraged to start the day at the Historic Downtown Glendale Merchants Association Portable Information Booth to get the full list of activities. The booth is located in Murphy Park at 58th and Glendale avenues.
In addition to the events, the Dog Days of Glendale will have a donation drive for pet food and supplies to aid the Animals & Humans in Disaster, Empty Bowl Pet Food Pantry. The event will also have low cost immunizations.
We are proud to announce this year’s charity will again be @EmptyBowlPetFoodPantry. Always helping Animals (and humans) in disaster 🐾 Let’s beat last year’s record breaking donation! pic.twitter.com/zXpUqhbqAy
