PHOENIX – Alice Cooper and his famous pals in Hollywood Vampires announced their first non-holiday show on the Valley rock icon’s home turf.
The supergroup, which features actor Johnny Depp and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry on guitar and Cooper on vocals, will play at The Pool at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale on May 17 as part of a seven-date spring tour.
Tickets to the 21-and-up show go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
The band’s only previous Valley appearances have been as part of Cooper’s annual Christmas Pudding benefit shows in 2016 and 2018 at Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, according to setlist.fm.

The Vampires have played live sporadically since forming in 2015 and releasing a self-titled album of three original tunes plus classic covers by The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Doors and more.
The record featured an anti-educational medley of Cooper’s anthemic “School’s Out” and Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2).”
For local fans hoping for one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s theatrical solo shows, there’s bad news.
Cooper announced this week he’s hitting the road with Halestorm on a co-headlining North American tour in July and August, but Arizona isn’t on the itinerary.
