PHOENIX — An opportunity to sample food trucks from all over the Valley is coming to Scottsdale this weekend.

The Street Eats Food Truck Festival will set up at Salt River Fields and run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

More than 55 food trucks, featuring fair favorites like fried peanut butter and jelly, corn dogs and old-fashioned lemonade, will offer $2 samples in addition to their regular menus.

Admission costs $12 online and $15 at the gate, while children 12 and under are free.

There are $75 VIP packages available, which include entry, five beverages, private restrooms, four food tokens and access to a VIP lounge.

If food samples sound a little too dainty, there will be four eating contests held throughout the day: a no-hands pie-eating contest, a 48-ounce burger challenge, a race to eat six hot dogs and a partnered donut-eating contest.

In addition to the good eats, there will be live music and inflatable bounce houses and slides for kids.

We want to hear from you.
