Silver Alert canceled after suburban Phoenix woman found safe

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert was canceled Thursday after a suburban Phoenix woman was found safe after going missing the day before.
Diana Zito, 71, was reported missing after she was last seen leaving her home in the area of 99th Avenue and West Pleasant Valley Road around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday. She had also left behind ID and cellphone.
She was found hiding in the bed of a pickup truck round 11:30 a.m. Thursday,the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said.
Zito has only lived in the area since November and is mostly unfamiliar with the neighborhood. Zito normally only leaves the house with family members.
Zito stands 5 feet, 4 inches and weighs about 110 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes and walks with some degree of difficulty.
