Bill Montgomery, David Tierney discuss crime in Arizona

In October, we did a show on Mass Incarceration in Arizona based on a report from fwd.us., whose results had received widespread publicity in local media.

This report concluded, among other things, that over the last 40 years, prison populations across the nation have skyrocketed and that Arizona’s increase in the prison population has been among the highest in the nation.

County Attorney Bill Montgomery took exception to that report. He is here to present his perspective.

That perspective often differs from that of attorney David Tierney who will also join the Think Tank.

This week’s Think Tank presents two of the most thoughtful advocates on the subject of criminal justice policy in our community.

I took note of both where they disagreed as well as when they agreed.
