PHOENIX – The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a man who tried to drag a female jogger into his vehicle Thursday in San Tan Valley.
The suspect was described as a white male in his mid-30s with brown hair and scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a light-colored or white shirt and driving a gray pickup truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma.
The woman told investigators she was running in the Johnson Ranch community just before 10 a.m. when she noticed she was being followed by truck.
She said the driver started making inappropriate comments before opening his door. He grabbed her by the arm and tried to pull her into the truck, but she got away.
