Silver Alert canceled after elderly Arizona man found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Wednesday afternoon for an elderly man suffering from dementia who went missing the day before, authorities said.
Glen Guttu, 83, was seen about 5 p.m. Tuesday driving away from his home at 419th Avenue near Rose Lane in Tonopah, which is about 50 miles west of downtown Phoenix.
He was found safe around 11:15 a.m. the next day.
Guttu was driving a 1988 red, four-door Cadillac bearing Arizona wheelchair license plate JBG26.
It was believed he was heading to Buckeye or Goodyear.
The man stands 5 feet, 10 inches and weighs 115 pounds. Guttu has gray hair and blue eyes.
