PHOENIX – A Phoenix man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for trading child pornography online, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office announced Tuesday.
Fifty-three-year-old Peter Joseph Caddeo’s sentence, which was handed down last week, also included lifetime probation and requires him to register as a sex offender.
Caddeo had been charged with nine counts of sexual exploitation of a minor before agreeing in September 2018 to plead guilty to one of the charges, according to Maricopa County Superior Court records.
Caddeo used internet chat rooms to obtain images and videos of child pornography either through trade or purchase.
In 2016, the federal Homeland Security Investigations unit identified Caddeo as a chat user who had been obtaining child pornography.
Investigators served a warrant at his residence and founds hundreds of images and videos on his digital devices.
